Scabbord on calvary sword has two heavy dents in lower 1/3rd. Leather is cracked but strong. Blade is 36'' has a steel grey patina no pitting no name.Guard is brass wire wrap is brass. Field sword scabbord is dent free. Blade is 32'' marked W.H.Horstmann & Sons Philadelphia. Guard is brass with a brass wire wrap on the grip.

  (2) MISC. KNIVES IN LEATHER SCABBARDS A lot of two different knives, likely of Middle Eastern origin. The first is a single edged 12" blade with crude engravings and a relief carving of a four-legged animal near the base, possibly a horse. It is mounted to a silver handle with shell inlay. It is in overall fair condition with heavy surface rust and a few knicks to the blade. The second is a double-edged 11" dagger with a brass and carved horn handle. It is far simpler in its design and is in overall fair condition some gouges and numerous knicks and chips along one edge.

The shagreen scabbard has a join along one edge where filler has been lost. The join of the fish skin on the grip has opened up in places.
