Early engraving after Bernhard Schumacher (b. 1872 German) by Gustav Fischer. Originally shown at the Commetersche Kunsthandlung gallery in Hamburg published by the gallery and Wilhelm Luhr in 1905. Etching depicts a lively scene at Alsterbassen Lake Hamburg Germany. Marked on lower margin ''Hamburg. Alsterbassin; Druck . v. Gustav Fischer Berlin; gez & rad. v. B. Schumacher.''. Also marked in the upper margin with gallery information: ''Commetersche Kunsthandlung / Wilhelm Luhr / Hamburg 1905''. Framed matted and under glass in an oak frame. Condition: very minor wear to engraving a few small pinholes to lower margin some discoloration to margin minor dents and scuffs to frame see images. Measures 18'' tall x 25'' wide (image within plate) and 26'' tall x 33.5'' wide (frame). Shipping weight 14 lbs.
