Whatman 1834", signed lower left "Drawn from Nature and Published by John J. Audubon F.R.S., F.L.S." (John James Audubon, American, 1785-1851) and lower right "Engraved, Printed & Coloured by R. Havell", hand colored engraving with aquatint and etching, plate 26 x 20-3/4 in., page 38-3/16 x 25-3/8 in.; modern gilt silver frame. Laid down on acidic fiber board, abraded in lower margin at previous inscription (faintly noticeable, stain upper margin); frame with abrasions.
