1890-1900 REGULATOR 2 SESSIONS
1890-1900 REGULATOR 2 SESSIONS ADVERTISEMENT CLOCKFeatured in this lot is this 1890-1900s Calumet baking soda advertising regulator clock by the Sessions Clock Company. The clock features spring driven brass movements. The front of the clock is advertising Calumet Baking Powder. The oak case shows a dark finish and the bonnet is detailed with classic ogee edge wood molding. The bottom of the clock shows a bracketed wood apron. The clock face is colored white and is painted with Roman numerals and features a 31 day numbered calendar along the outer ring of face, marked by the red crescent moon arm. The bottom of the face is marked reading, "Made By The Sessions Clock Co. Forestville, Conn. U.S.A." in black lettering. The hinged wood frame door has a glass insert which is painted with the slogan, ‘Calumet baking Powder Time to Buy Best by Test’. The back fo the clock still features the original paper slip showing who made the clock, what kind of clock it is and directions on how to set and wind the clock. The clock shows good condition overall with some slight wear from its age and use but no obvious signs of damage are present. The clock has not been tested for functionality. The clock measures 4 5/8" L x 18" W x 38 3/8" H.
