The carved walnut dog’s head with inset eyes that rotate around two dials, one hourly, the other indicating minutes. Height 7 in. Width 5 in. Depthh 4 in. Sessions 5 1/4"H. All untested. All with some wear and minor losses to patina on cases. Chips, scratches and desilvering to mirror on New Haven; chips to crystal on Doxa, minor losses to numerals; Waltham rose discoloration to face and losses to numerals.

(St. Louis, Missouri), walnut case with shaped pediment and crest, three carved and turned urn finials, locking front door with brass hinges and mounts and two glass panels opening to dials and works, two 8-1/4 in. painted sheet metal dials, one with Roman numerals and marked "Fashion/Patented/Oct. 11th 1875", the other with Arabic numerals for days of the month, date aperture, and marked "Southern Calendar Clock Co./St. Louis, MO." and "Patented/July 4th 1876", with winder key

in good condition overall, some scattered surface scratches and bumps to case, a few scattered chips and losses at edges, finials loose, works not closely examined, not tested for functionality

SETH THOMAS CALENDAR CLOCK: 19th c. Seth Thomas double dial Calendar Clock. The upper dial bearing Roman numerals for hour & minute, marked w/ a patent date of Dec. 28, 1876, and Seth Thomas mark; the lower dial w/ Arabic numerals to indicate day of the month, with rolling day & month indicators, and a patent date of Feb. 15, 1876. Both reside behind a latching figure eight glass door in wood case. Approx. 20'' h x 13'' w x 5.5'' d.
CONDITION: Original paint at both dials shows crazing & wear commensurate with age. Not guaranteed to work or keep accurate time.
