Overall: 9 1/8" H x 7 7/8" W x 3 1/4" D. 20th century. 2nd-3rd items: Two (2) brass kerosene ship lanterns, including one (1) navigation onion lamp with red glass having hinged loop handles to top and bottom; and one (1) lamp with clear glass, stamped "MAR. 18. 78/...NOV.20.77" to inner rim, raised on a circular brass stand. Navigation lantern (with handles): approx. 17 1/4" H x 9 1/4" dia. Clear lantern (with handle): 13 3/8" H x 4" dia.; overall with stand: 14 3/8" H x 5 1/2" dia. 20th century. The Estate of Patricia Kiegel, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: 1st item: Scattered oxidation and surface scratches to brass; toning and scattered foxing spots to dial. Clock not functional at time of inspection. 2nd-3rd items: Both items with scattered oxidation, surface scratches, and minor denting throughout brass bodies. Navigation lantern with minor area of wear to glass.

  "PERKO" PERKINS VINTAGE BRASS SHIP LANTERNBrass ship lantern circa early 20th century, stamped "Perko Marine Lamps and Hardware Co." on heavily oxidized back panel. Hinged door with sliding latch; thick beveled glass lens; mechanism on back for hanging lamp. Measures approximately 10" tall, 8" wide and 6-1/2" deep. In overall good condition consistent with age and use. The Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation was founded by a Russian immigrant in Brooklyn, NY in 1907. The company's name and trademark was changed to "Perko Marine Lamps and Hardware" in 1922. The company headquarters was moved to Florida in the mid 20th century and they continue to manufacture quality marine lamps and hardware today.
