  MECHANICAL TIME ONLY SHIP"S CLOCK 6 ?" wide x 8 ?" An enamel dial with Roman Numerals for all chapters, all minute hash marks at the dial's edge. Subsidiary seconds dial above six. Blued spade type minute/hour hands. Blued stick type sub hand. Compensated balance on a low jeweled train. The clock has been rotated 90 degrees, so the hinge at nine can swing up. The orientation of the dial is a little confusing, with twelve being where three should be. A salvaged cast iron base was attached. A jury rigged clock that found use in a rail yard for decades. Nothing factory, but the mother of invention.
