Fish Cream Jug First a 5-1/2"H majolica cream jug molded with a rope bound sheaf of wheat with large red flowers with green leaves rope handle glazed in bright yellow with red interior. Second a majolica fish pitcher with fish in water on both sides. Made by Shorter and Son Stoke On Trent Great Britain. With blue green water gray fish pink & white shells yellow background & green plants. Handle is blue trimmed brown and the interior is pink marked with impressed and stamped marks on the underside apprx. 4"H.

SMALL STONEWARE JUG W/ GREEN
SMALL STONEWARE JUG W/ GREEN GLAZESmall stoneware pottery ceramic jug with a pale green glaze. The jug with an ovoid body, slightly tapered foot, tapered bottleneck, and handle extending from the top rim to the body.
Height: 7 1/2 in x diameter: 4 3/4 in.
Condition:
The pottery is in generally good condition; no major chips, cracks or losses. Wear throughout. There are multiple losses to the glaze along the rim. Along the handle, there is an approx. 1/4 inch long chip. Below the handle, there is an area with four minute losses. Below it, there are two minute losses to the glaze along the body. Below the losses, there is a hairline crack, measuring 4 inches. Along the underside of the piece, there is an area with cracks that length ranges from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch, which covers half of the underside. There is a sticker residue on the underside.
