  QUARTER-SAWN OAK SIDEBOARD, LATE 19TH CENTURYA late 19th century stained quarter-sawn oak sideboard, showing a full length beveled mirror sided by carved gargoyle pilasters, the work surface over a carved frieze fitted with twin drawers above a pair of panelled cupboard doors over a full width drawer, all with carved pulls, raised overall on gadrooned supports.   Georgia Piedmont sideboard, huntboard or sideboard, yellow pine, two-board top with astragal front corners, three drawers over three doors on tapered legs, 19th century, 42 x 54-1/4 x 23 in. Dry scraped with traces of paint (lacking finish), one drawer missing back board, replaced doors and knobs, some water and rodent damage to legs.

The top has been reattached and had a gallery at one time (there are pieced repairs where it use to be) revarnished and multiple pieced repairs throughout.

  SOUTHERN CLASSICAL MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD Circa 1820, attributed to Norfolk, Virginia, mahogany veneer, poplar and white pine secondary, applied arched backsplash with applied reeded edge, featuring book-matched burl wood veneers, rectangular top with projecting block ends over the stiles, two upper convex drawers over two center deep bow-front drawers with banded inlays, flanked by hinged paneled cabinet doors, 3/4 turned columns with acanthus leaf carved capitals, front feet featuring acanthus leaf and hairy paws, rear tapered feet.

  SOUTHERN TWO DRAWER SERVER SIDEBOARDSouthern two drawer cherry server/sideboard on tall turned feet. Dovetailed graduated drawers with inlaid bone escutcheons, over tall turned legs. Paneled sides and back, poplar and yellow pine secondary. Size: 44 1/4" x 41 1/4" x 25 1/4". Possibly Southeast TN or Northern Georgia. Circa 1830. Condition: Older refinish, back with replaced upper panel, possibly modfied from an earlier hidden well above the top drawer. Pegs on the front divider above the top drawer supports a board for the well. Old patch to upper right stile, drawer supports reinforced, minor chips to feet.
