Two Suzani silk embroidery fragments: one finely worked with floral, leaf and quatrefoil motifs on linen ground, 58 x 85 in., linen backing 61 x 107 in., reduced through center and at one end, several small holes and frayed areas, scattered stains, some fading, mounted on later linen backing; one with repeating floral and leaf design on linen ground, two panels, 27 x 82 in., torn and cut edges, some fading, some toning of linen ground, both Uzbekistan, 19th century. Condition: The fabric markedly yellowed unevenly mounted in the frame with resultant rippling.
