Slight surface oxidation to crane box. 9th item: Overall good condition with scattered surface scratches and minor denting to silver components. Slight discoloration of tortoiseshell. 10th item: Tortoiseshell with scattered surface scratches; minor scattered hairlines, largest measuring approximately 1" L; slight warping, and minor losses, largest measuring 3/4" x 1/8". Beautiful Continental silver gilt lidded circular box displaying a scrolling motif accented by mult-color enamel decoration, pearls, and bezel set gems. Circular box is set atop foliate form feet. Further accented by a large Carnelian finial with a single pearl with green enamel leaves to the base. Apparently unmarked. Total approx. weight of the box is 6.15 troy oz (gross). From a New Rochelle, NY estate. Dimensions: box measures approx. 3" in diameter x 3.25" high. Condition: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Missing (3) pearls and one foot.
