The key wind & gilded verge movement showing a finely engraved balance cock, the faceplate signed Peter LeRoy, London together with numerals 6574. Key missing, mechanism untested at time of cataloguing. The face measures 1 7/8" diameter, the case measuring 2 1/8" diameter x 2 1/2" high to the stem. Peter LeRoy is likely that of French watchmaker Pierre Leroy of LeRoy & Fils of Paris.
