Loss to plate, dents in bases with loss, scratches. From the Estate of the Late Harold K. Bennett, Asheville, North Carolina, purchased from the Estate of the Late William Hudson, Asheville, North Carolina. According to consignors, items have descended from the Roman family of New Orleans. Andre Bienvenu Roman was twice antebellum governor of Louisiana.
