This is a larger doll cradleboard / cradle board. The piece shows a classic wood frame with brass covered tacking. The papoose is made of trade canvas like material with orange ribbon piping or bordering and is covered in cowrie shells. At the center is a plus cloth covering. The piece is well kept and displays well. Measures overall 20.5” L by 6.5”W. by 6”D. Total weight of 1 lbs. 4 oz.

The doll features a wonderfully and professionally crafted trade cloth and paper mache construction that shows the doll with her eyes right and holding a baby doll in her left arm and is sporting a trade bead necklace and shows mocassins with green and off white trade seed beaded construction. The condition of this skookum doll shows a well preserved condition with some wear to age but otherwise no known damage to the doll. The measurements of this skookum doll is 33 1/2" x 13" x 7 1/2". The collective weight of this skookum doll is 6lb 10oz.
