ARISTO MARTIN SPACE SLIDE RULE PLUS HANDBOOK & BOXMartin Space Rule slide rule, Nr. 80123, manufactured by Aristo, Germany, 1962. Comprised of double-sided white plastic with a plastic cursor with a plastic frame held together with metal screws. Includes Space Rule Handbook and brown leather case with original cardboard box. Slide rule: 7 1/4" L. Box: 8" H x 7" W x 1" D.
Condition:
Slide rule in overall very good condition with expected surface wear. Box, case, and instruction manual with minor tears, dampstaining, general wear to be expected from age and manner of use.

2 CIRCULAR SLIDE RULES, INCL. ECKEL ENGINEER'S & ROTARU...1st item: Eckel Dial-O-Matic Engineer's or Engineer's Log Log slide rule, manufactured by Lithocalculator Company, Arcadia, California, circa 1955. Comprised of two celluloid-coated aluminum disks, one on top of the other, with a clear plastic cursor, the end piece held together with a metal screw. Includes an instruction manual for the Layman's model with additional insert for the Engineer's model, and a brown plastic case. Slide rule: 7 1/2" dia (includes cursor). 2nd item: RotaRule Model 510 50" pocket size circular slide rule, manufactured by Boykin Products Company, Ruxton, Maryland, circa 1963. Comprised of double-sided white plastic with a clear plastic cursor with a white plastic end piece held together with metal screws. Includes brown leather case, instruction manual, a Rota Rule parts lists, and a miniature screwdriver, with original box. Slide rule: 6" dia (includes cursor). Box: 8 3/4" H x 6 1/4" W x 1 1/4" D.
Condition:
Slide rules in overall very good condition with expected surface wear. Boxes, cases, instruction manuals with minor tears, dampstaining, general wear to be expected from age and manner of use.

Maker's marks and model numbers, front and top edge of cursors, some with maker's marks and model top edges or obverse of slide rule. All housed in orange or black K& E cases. Slide rules ranging in size from 11 3/8" to 12 1/4" L. Cases ranging in size from 11 5/8" to 13" L. All items 1st-3rd quarter 20th century.
Condition:
All items in overall very good condition with light wear, toning to celluloid, to be expected from age and manner of use. Cases with expected wear, surface grime. Orange case with stamp from previous owner to interior of flap.

FABER CASTELL MATHEMA 2/84 SLIDE RULE & TR4 SCIENTIFIC ...Two (2) Faber Castell, Germany scientific items, including one (1) Mathema 2/84 Full Hyperbolic duplex slide rule, comprised of white plastic with a plastic cursor with hairlines and plastic edges held together with metal screws (12" L), and one (1) TR4 scientific slide rule calculator, comprised of black plastic with green, orange, off white, and grey buttons (6 3/4" L). Maker's marks to edge of slide rule cursor and front of calculator. Both include original cases. Both items 3rd quarter 20th century.
Condition:
All items in overall good condition. Slide rule case with wear, does not completely close. Calculator not tested for functionality, requires a new battery charger.

Hagler; one (1) Electro Optical Industries Model 17 Radiation slide rule; and one (1) Warren-Knight Company Weight Rule No. 1373-G. All comprised of metal with white or yellow double-sided coating, with frameless plastic cursors with plastic edges held together with metal screws, and metal end pieces. Maker's marks and model numbers, to obverse and reverse edges of slide rules. All include original brown or black leather cases, Collins slide rule with laminated explanation card, Warren-Knight slide rule with outer box and guarantee registration card. Slide rules approximately 12 1/4" L. Cases approximately 13" L. All items 2nd-3rd quarter 20th century. Note: Georgia Iron Works and Electro-Optical Industries examples do not have Pickett maker's marks to slide rules.

DOLLOND ROLLING RULE BRITAIN, CIRCA 1780 RULER LENGTH 12". CASE HEIGHT 1". LENGTH 12.75". WIDTH 2.75".DOLLOND ROLLING RULE, Britain, Circa 1780, By Peter Dollond (British, 1731-1821). Signed on one end "Dollond London 1673". Ebony ruler with ivory inch scales on either long edge, divided by tenths. One side is beveled downward for map reading and plotting, and the other side is beveled upward for ink drawing. Roller arm with two milled brass wheels with ivory readouts in tenths of inches and geared to drive a central pointer reading against an enameled dial likewise divided into tenths of an inch. Original fitted wood case bound in fish skin, lined in green velvet and with three brass catches. Dimensions: Ruler length 12". Case height 1". Length 12.75". Width 2.75". Provenance: Tesseract, Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.The Kelton Collection of Marine Art & Artifacts.Notes:This is the sophisticated mechanical readout version of the rolling rule invented by A.G. Eckhardt of London in 1771 (British patent #985). He apparently left the patent with Peter Dollond. When used with care, the ruler permitted rapid two dimensional plotting of points on a graph. It is most rare.
