Darkening discoloration to metal. Scattered pen tip sized chips to lip of the glass jar and several pen tip sized chips scattered through out surface especially to corners and bottom edge. light grime build up to all.

  A Large Faience Ewer, Galle edition a Nancy, St. Clement The unusual shape has a small base, bulbous body and flaring lip with sparrow-beak spout. There is relief decoration around the base and at the neck and handle that simulates intertwined branches picked out in blue. The sides are hand decorated in blue as well, in images of an elderly man and a woman, and with a ribbon holding a still life of various objects around the base of the handle. Overall it measures approx. 12"H.
