Patent numbers on left side of frame Schofields on right. S/n on butt. Bluing is only about 10%. Still a rare and nice gun. The action functions correctly. There is a ''US'' and serial number on the butt. The finish appears to be original. It appears to be mechanically funtioning.

Smith & Wesson No. 1 Second Model .22 short cal. 3.25'' barrel S/N 79688. Silver-plated frame blue barrel rosewood grips. Condition: Good condition with a very good but lightly pitted bore. It retains ca 70% original silver finish while the rest of the gun has a brown patina. It has a weak locking spring and the cylinder does not lock up properly. The barrel is a little loose and the screws are all buggered up.

Missing front sight. Condition: Barrel has nice brown patina mixed with some blue grey spots. Frame and lock are a nice dark amber blending with case colors. Wood is excellent with a dark red look. Some scratches and dings. Bore is good and will clean to better.
