Bowie: 14.25" L x 3.5" W (sheathed). Provenance: From the collection of Le Lieu and Malcolm Browne (American, 1931-2012), the photojournalist who took the 1963 award-winning photograph of the self-immolation of Buddhist Monk Thic Quang Duc (Vietnamese, 1893-1963).

FIVE DIFFERENT STAG HANDLED LINDER-MESSER KNIVES Grouping of five new Linder-Messer Solingen knives, four are stag handled kris knives, the other is a hunting type knife, the hunting knife has a base stag antler mount with button, seated in the butt is a 1780 reproduction coin; the second knife is a kris knife having the same configuration of horn and sporting a similar coin; the third is a kris knife with an antlered deer head carved into the horn handle, the fourth and fifth kris knives both have a fancy guard, one with a dark handle and the other with a light handle, all appropriately marked.
