- A long manuscript poem apparently
A long manuscript poem apparently in the hand of and signed by Quaker preacher Job Scott (1751-1793), titled A Vision of Job Scott. Scott wrote on it, "For Sarah Hayes" and "Such is my confidence in that evidence of Life, accompanying the opening, that I venture to record it, this 28th of 11th mo. 1792". On December 5th, 1792 Scott sailed from Boston to France, England and Ireland, according to Wikipedia, where he died of smallpox less than a year later. Together with an 1850 business document of Chester County, Pa. and a c. 1900 photograph of a large group of people in front of an early house, taken by a West Chester, Pa. photographer.
