Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Swinging Tea Kettle on a Stand with a Burner, ca. 1907-1947 A sterling silver hot water footed kettle of an urn shape for 2-3/4 pints; on a burner stand. The handle with two bone ivory insulators, a hinged lid with a finial. There are two keys attached to the body each side to prevent accidental spills. The burner stands on a circular base. There are hallmarks on the underside of the kettle, the underside of the burner container and the side of the base "TIFFANY & Co./17089B Makers 6500/Sterling Silver/925-1000/M". Monogrammed. Overall the piece measures 12-3/4"H x 5-3/4" in diameter at the widest point, plus the swan neck spout. Total weight approx. 56.915 troy oz.

A Sterling Silver Hot Water Kettle with Burner Stand The kettle with stand measures apprx. 10-1/2" to the top of the finial. The squat body of the kettle is embellished overall with foliate patterns in deep relief and with an applied floral finial polished wood curing handle held by silver curing hinges. The kettle is hinged to a four leg burner base held with a key on a chain. Marks include lion passant leopard date letter for 1825 and maker's mark DW over JW within a shield shape. Weighs apprx. 60.81 toz.
