I am leaving it in the state it is in. if the new owner wants proper lubrication...''The original shipping box from the Defense Distribution Depot in Anniston Alabama, Aug 1996 is included with this lot.Serial number places the year of production at 1944.The barrel is stamped on top under the hand guard, with drawing number D7312555. Barrel also marked S-A-6- ??, (the last of the marks in this series has been obliterated) and fitted with a Hart Manufacturing flash hider, the receiver is marked US Rifle Cal .30 M1 Springfield Armory with serial number, the scope is lettered 'TELESCOPE/M84', S/N 32482, smooth wood pistol grip stamped with circled P, stock with original Parkerized, pebbled metal butt plate, canvas sling, leather cheek rest branded ''MRT/10 52'' with markings highlighted in shiny black, two screw holes, no screws.This gun qualifies for shipping directly to a holder of FFL Type 03 License - Collector of Curios and Relics.Measures overall 46 inches with 24 inch barrel.Excellent Condition, appears unfired, some yellow specks on barrel.
