Sight size 22" x 28 1/2", overall in period walnut frame 34" x 42". Print shows 3" tear from bottom center border. Discoloration in the sky. Four stains at the stern and sails. Light creasing on edges.

ORIGINAL 1906 SWISS STEAMSHIP TRAVEL POSTERPaul Krawutschke, aka PIK (German, 1865-unknown). Historic Jugendstil-style travel poster. Dated original 1906 lithograph depicting a man blowing a horn on rocks overlooking Lake Lucerne, as the (then) new steamship "Uri" sails by. The Uri is a paddle steamer that has only recently been restored and is currently still in operation since its launch in 1901. Measures 45-3/4'' x 33'', backed with linen. Framed to 54" x 40-1/2". Good, with some edge wear. Colors vibrant.
