A Brewster & Ingraham Four Spire Steeple Clock Walnut case flanked by four turned columns with conical finials double panel door with lock and key cast metal escutcheon with wheel-cut etched glass design in lower panel painted zinc dial with Roman numerals printed paper with information about the clock applied to the inside back panel with directions covered with plexi panel. Comes with key and pendulum. Brass springs.Elias Ingraham (1805-1885) worked as a designer and cabinet maker for George Mitchell in 1828. He designed made and sold the first sharp gothic better known as the steeple clock. During WWII and the Korean War the company made anti-aircraft fuses.

One inch tear in center of field and discoloration in margins. Also, "A Village Wedding", print; 18" x 30 1/2"; after a painting by Luke Fildes; printed in Paris. Two stabilized tears (one 9") and two tears in center of field; discoloration and foxing overall.

Ecclesiastical Mosaic set in Marble American early 20th century a stone and glass mosaic of the Christ Child against a cross surrounded by amber marble on a solid slate backing; 44.5 x 28.25 in. Founded in 1827 St. Paul's Episcopal Church was originally located in downtown Albany New York on Lancaster Street. ''Old St. Paul's'' and the ninety surrounding blocks were slated for demolition in the 1950s to make way for a new government project Albany's Empire State Plaza. This piece was removed from the building prior to demolition in the mid-1960s.
