Provenance: Estate of Ronald Sperling Literature: Reference, Richard L. Scott, Ceramics from the House of Amphora 1890 - 1915, 2004, p. 260. In 1905, Dachsel, the son-in-law of Alfred Stellmacher, the founder of Amphora Pottery company in Turn-Teplitz, founded his own pottery studio. Kunstkeramik Paul Dachsel designs favored simple forms with applied handles and ornamentation in the organic Art Nouveau style. The ceramic studio remained in business until 1911.
