A 19th Century Ebonized Wood and Ivory Inlay Foot Stool The petite rectangular stool with four bulbous tapering legs and an ivory inlaid frieze with Renaissance Revival motifs measures approx. 11-1/4" x 8-1/4" x 6-3/4"H. In is upholstered in a black on white neoclassical pattern cotton toile depicting the Cupid market, finished with brass nailheads. Partial paper label on the underside and other markings. The textile is modern. Similar to pieces by Herter Brothers.

A Delicate Louis XVI Style Foot
A Delicate Louis XVI Style Foot Stool The upholstered oval form with exposed carved wood base measures approx. 15"W x 10"D x 7"H. Covered in an aqua and yellow stripe silk fabric with double welting at the edge. The base is carved with a spiral ribbon pattern on the frieze, broken by carved paterae at the top of each leg. The short legs are fluted and with turned feet.
