SMALL STONEWARE JUG W/ GREEN GLAZESmall stoneware pottery ceramic jug with a pale green glaze. The jug with an ovoid body, slightly tapered foot, tapered bottleneck, and handle extending from the top rim to the body.
Height: 7 1/2 in x diameter: 4 3/4 in.
Condition:
The pottery is in generally good condition; no major chips, cracks or losses. Wear throughout. There are multiple losses to the glaze along the rim. Along the handle, there is an approx. 1/4 inch long chip. Below the handle, there is an area with four minute losses. Below it, there are two minute losses to the glaze along the body. Below the losses, there is a hairline crack, measuring 4 inches. Along the underside of the piece, there is an area with cracks that length ranges from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch, which covers half of the underside. There is a sticker residue on the underside.
