The Swimmer is a very rare figure designed by Leslie Harradine and issued c. 1928. This is probably the only Doulton example of the traditional Bathing Beauty motif, a subject that was very popular with other ceramics makers of the 1920s and 1930s. Stamped to base ROYAL DOULTON.
