Reverse ricasso stamped úW. WALSCHEID / SOLINGENî and obverse stamped "PROVED" within a circle. Scabbard includes a leather carrying strap. Blade measures - 32 3/4" L. Overall length - 39 3/4". Condition:
Losses to sharkskin handle. Pitting and some oxidation to upper section of blade. Oxidation and general wear to scabbard.

Songye Prestige Staff in carved wood with replaced lion tail crest, the decorative head depicting a Chief riding an anthropomorphic four-legged demon, small figure riding its tail, another sheltering under its chin, a cluster of seven smaller figures underneath all, having a banded chip-carved knopped top to the tapered staff, 59" tall, excluding the hair. Very good condition.

Import 32'' blade most likely German with nice clear engravings of US eagle military motifs and foliate scroll. Metal scabbard with extra fancy engraved mounts. Sword has original officers sash still wrapped around grip faded to a nice rose color. We have not removed the sash from the grip. 38 3/4'' long overall.CONDITION: Minor areas of isolated peppering on blade sash has tears and rips but complete and intact.

Original attic condition.

1790s American Officer's Eagle Head Sabre 28.5'' x 1.5'' blue and gold gilt blade with panoply of arms 3/4 fuller slotted guard. Blade marked Warranted indicating British mfg. Ebony handle with a couple small worm holes. Leather scabbard. Condition: Retains ca 40-50% blue 70% gold gilt. Scabbard is complete but has lots of crazing. Overall very good condition.
