Foxing to canvas backing map- some blemishes foxing at outer edges light wear at corners of map segments on outer edge but panels fairly clean bright. Ordanance survery map of london- J adkins nov 9th 1843. Browning to 4 sections on left side grubby at centre fold odd marks but fair. Backing lightly browned leather box rubbed but strucurally ok. Essex map- dated London july 6th 1804. Map browned and offsetting and blemishes. Canvas backing heavily foxed browned. Marble paper box worn throughout but fair. Sold by William Fadden geographer to the king. Extent of the several dicese as determined by an act of 6th and 7th of willaim IVth c.77 dicese canterbury. hand colouered map light browning bottom right grubby but ok. cloth backing light foxing and browning.
