Composed of an overall ormolu foundation with scrolled rococo feet and embossed scrolled floral motifs along the base. Further fitted with etched crystal panels in Symmetrical, geometric designs along with floral detailing along the corners. At the corners of each panel are spindled finials. Finished with textured detailing throughout. The box, opened by a key, opens to reveal the interior ormolu foundation, securing the 16 crystal cordials and the 4 decanters. Each crystal piece is embellished with gilded, brain coral patterns and gilded detailing. Securing the cordials are winding tree branch motif railings. The bottom of the foundation is a glass panel with mounted ormolu feet. CIRCA: Mid-Late 19th Ct.
