Theatrical Parade Sporrans Lot of Six The Sporran is a traditional part of male Scottish Highland dress. It is a pouch that performs the same function as pockets on the pocketless Scottish kilt. Made of leather or fur the ornamentation of the sporran is determined by the formality of dress worn with it. The sporran is worn on a leather strap or chain conventionally positioned in front of the groin of the wearer. Condition: Very good.

Three Pieces of Tartanware Including a 4" x 2-3/4" card case with lift off lid decoupaged picture of a mother and child on one side "Stuart" in gilt letters above inscribed on the wood inner lip "Beatrice B. Sutherland Westford Mass." Second is a 2-3/8"D snuff box with lift off lid with "Clan Stuart" in gilt letters on the lid silver painted interior. Last is an egg shaped "go to bed" match container with a tiny bone button at the top gilt tracery between the plaid panels and around the black base apprx. 2-3/4"H x 2-1/2"D at the base.
