* KENT ROCKWELL A group of two typed letters signed (''Rockwell Kent''). 1 page on personal letterhead to Robert Middleton of Ludlow Typography Company November 3 1947. Kent apologizes for his delayed response due to his mother's death and discusses the use of Japanese ''Shogun'' paper is the most satisfactory for his woodblocks but since it is now difficult to obtain a difference paper should be used in Middleton's new publication. Together with a black and white photograph. 1 page on personal letterhead to Charles Cutcliff April 2 1962. Kent tells Cutcliff that the [climate] maps sent to him illustrate the similarities between the temperature in Greenland and that in the Adirondacks. He states that he is sending him a map of his own reproducing the design of the endpapers in Wilderness.
