A Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Teapot with Lid Squared form sits on four bracket feet, has a squared handle and spout, circular inset lid with peach and leaf knop. Decorated overall with landscapes and foliage in cobalt blue, no marks found. Measures approx. 4"H x 3-3/4"W x 3-3/4"D. There is a portion of an inventory card from Marguerite Riordan, Stonington, CT folded inside the teapot assigning an 18th century date to the piece.

Provenance from the Estate of Marjorie & Ralph Knowles, Atlanta, GA. Coffee pot approx. 10.5"h, w. 6.25". Approx. weight inclusive of all materials-- 91.28 ozt.
