C. 1879 Coventry ''Club'' (English) 50'' highwheel maker unknown to us but its distinctive architecture makes it easily identifiable. This machine has interesting elements including brakes which operate by twisting the handlebars. The saddle linkage is very complex and links to the front with a rubber grommet. Saddle shows wear. Pedals have round (Singer style) rubber blocks fixed frame step. Overall good cond.
