Signed lower right and dated ‘07. 7 1/4" long, 2 1/2" wide. On verso there is a depiction "Whaling Schooner E. B. Conwell dries her sails at a Fairhaven wharf, anchored in mid-channel is the bark Mermaid, just arrived, lying at quarantine with full cargo". Extremely well-detailed. Shows a 2" hairline crack at top. 605.0 grams. Cannot be shipped out of Massachusetts.
