SPANISH ECCLESIASTICAL PAINTING Early 19th c. Copy of the 13th c. Last Supper from the Church of Saint Miguel de Soriguerola, Cerdanya, Huesca, Spain, now in the National Museum of Catalan Art, Barcelona, Spain. Depicts Christ with eleven Apostles, tempera on a spruce wood panel, with checkered cloth, the feet of the men showing from under the draped front of the table, representations of gilt plates, clay beakers and chalices, fish and bread. Suspended in a starry field. 9 1/2" x 23 3/4". Some losses.
