Oil on canvas, unsigned, other than an inscription on the stretcher in blue paint that reads "George Luks, H.F. Smaley". Housed in a modern bleached oak panel frame, OS: 62 1/2" x 35", SS: 54 1/2" x 27", two small repaired tears: one in the background on the right, the other in her skirt, rippled at top.
