Georgia blue-painted tavern table, walnut or birch with three-board scrubbed top, blue-painted base with molded square legs and box stretcher, attributed to Georgia, late 18th/early 19th century, 27-1/4 x 51 x 36-1/2 in. Top lacking central batten and with multiple nail scars, base with probably original blue paint, extensive wear and abrasions overall, some possible loss of height. Griffin notes that it was "found on back porch of black family home in Elbert County, Georgia; purchased from Billy Allen, Commerce, Georgia, November 1980".

George II mahogany games table, oak drawer linings, accordion action rear legs, fold-over top with felt-lined playing surface and four gaming cups, candlestick corners, acanthus carved knees, scrolled feet, British, mid 18th century, 29-1/4 x 33 x 17 in. Good condition overall with old refinishing, some wear and abrasions to carved elements, one knee return replaced and one reattached, minor crack to rear rail, other minor flaws. Top with burns and stains, legs somewhat loose and with numerous added nails and screws. Griffin notes this table is "from Arons family of Oglethorpe County, Georgia, south of Lexington; purchased from W.W. Williams, Bowman, Georgia, April 1980".
