Wonderful image of three siblings the two sisters dressed alike in lace trimmed white dresses gold beads at their throats the elder holding a vine of morning glories. Their brother wears a pale yellow suit and holds out a stem of flowering nasturtiums. 39''h. 39''w. in an old frame 49''h. 28.75''w. Rebacked on new stretcher cleaned and revarnished. Blacklight shows inpainted repair above and to face of child on left inpainting along bottom edge right side of standing child's dress and several smaller spots through the background. Old wood strips with painted name (H. Weeb/Web/Week) placed on top of new stretcher. NOTE: framed dimensions are actually 49''h. 48.75''w.

Burr (Connecticut, 1858 - 1931), charcoal, toning and foxing, ss: 5" h. x 10 1/2" w.; portrait of a standing woman in profile, attributed to Fannie Burr, c. 1880's dress with large balloon sleeves and oversized bonnet, monogrammed "B" in lower right corner, ss: 7 3/4" h. x 5 3/4" w.; and a charcoal of woman and crouching child in countryside, uneven toning, creases, unsigned, ss: 4 1/2" h. x 3 1/2" w.; all pieces matted and framed behind glass, none examined out of frame, wear consistent with age.
