EARLY AMERICAN MILITARY MUSKET, .69
EARLY AMERICAN MILITARY MUSKET, .69 CAL A fine example of an early American military musket bearing a "London Warranted" stamped lock plate. The gun features a 39-inch-long barrel mounted in a full-length stock with bronze nose cap, trigger guard and buttplate. There is also a bronze roundel framed by silver inlay just behind the barrel tang. The firearm is in overall good condition considering its age with only some surface rust primarily focused near the action and on the lock plate itself. Ram rod is still present as is a socket bayonet. The barrel is marked "P M" with "T.F. 1827" below it over the location of the chamber.
