An Enameled Portrait Trinket Box The small 1-3/4"D x 1-1/4"H circular box is comprised of an enameled lid and base with gilt metal rims, hinge and interior. The background of the enamel is a clear cobalt blue, with hand enameled borders in white scrolls picked out in gilt, and with the profile portrait of a Renaissance style lady in the center of the lid with foil backing under her vivid yellow dress.

Oval panels on the sides are engraved with the initial "E" and "A". The interior is lined with dark blue velvet and is separated with two partitions. Overall measures apprx. 6-1/4" x 4-1/2" x 5"H to the top of the finial.
