Item 3: Cylindrical carved wood brush pot, possibly bamboo, decorated with relief carved landscape vignette of houses, trees, mountains and lakes. Carved Chinese or Japanese character marks to back, calligraphy mark inside upper rim. 9"H. Chinese or Japanese, 19th century. Item 4: A soapstone triple vase carved with monkeys, birds and fruit. 5-1/2"H.
Condition:
Items 1 & 2: Several shrinkage cracks and separations to brush pots. Item 3: Shrinkage cracks, one affecting center vignette. Item 4: excellent condition.
