Seals: "Kinugasa (one of the censors Kinugasa Fusajiro’s family name) / Shita-uri (low-key sale) (Note: Shita-uri was a kind of official stamp only used from 1850 to 1853 in Kae era (1848-1854)." and inscribed: "Ichiyusai (the author’s art name) Painted by Kuniyoshi (the author’s surname) (Note: Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798-1861) was one of the great masters of the Japanese Ukiyo-e style woodblock prints and painting in the late Edo period, known for his portrayals of famous samurai and legendary heroes. / Murata (one of the censors Murata Heimon’s family name)."
