General Joseph Hooker at Lookout Mountain Tennessee Photograph Copy photograph from the Eugene Atwater Studio Collection St. Louis Missouri of General Joseph T. Hooker (1814-1879) sitting atop Lookout Mountain Tennessee the scene of the "Battle Above the Clouds." Taken ca November 1863. Hooker's troops drove the Confederates from Lookout Mountain on November 24 1863.? Condition: The print itself is very good and there is only minor soiling and corner wear to the mount. The horizontal lines in the bottom half of the print are in the negative - the result of copying a worn or folded print.
