Greek Cross insignia inlaid, left side of butt, compass, right side of butt. Walnut stocks, metal frame, round barrel. Standard sights. Barrel length - 28". Overall length - 46". Condition:
Gun has been sporterized by removing front of forearm past the first barrel band. Remaining forearm has been checkered. Name and address of former owner has been applied to the magazine with electric pen. Silver plate with former owner's name placed in the wrist. Proper butt plate with cleaning lanyard in the butt. Bore is OK but dark. Little original finish remains. Excellent mechanical.

The ''Double-W'' version with two hundred twenty-six items affixed to the board including nine containers of caps twenty shotgun shells and one hundred ninety-seven rifle and revolver cartridges. Also includes chromolithographed images of a moose the duck (his bill partially concealed) and pair of bear hunters. Retains the factory label as well as ''No. 635'' stenciled on verso. Mounted in its original oak frame. 40''h. 57 1/2''w. Found in Medina Ohio. Ex Charles and Nellie Momchilov (Ohio). Backing paper undisturbed frame undisturbed scattered minor wear and scratches to the front side (nothing too intrusive) a few of the cartridges are loose but all are present.

Walnut stocks with GHD and ordnance wheel cartouches U.S. and flaming bomb stamps on left side of receiver flaming bomb stamp on the top of the barrel. Condition: Excellent condition with an excellent bore. This gun retains ca 95% original blue finish with the loss being on the magazine tube from working the action and some minor loss on the end of the barrel. The stocks are excellent.

Trapdoor does not work freely. Buckhorn sights are nice good balance. Circa 1888.
