Remington's First Revolver.?Mowbray 2007: p. 40. Condition: Revolver is very sharp and crisp.? Barrel retains 90% of the original blue finish.? Frame and cylinder has nice brown patina with some black staining.? Outside pawl has most of the blue finish.? Grips are excellent.

This revolver is pictured in Schif Charles. Remington's First Revolver.?Mowbray 2007: p. 94. Checkered gutta percha grips. A rare prototype converted to a .32 rf cartridge. Condition: Markings are sharp and crisp . Barrel with nice dark brown patina. Cylinder with brown patina. Frame with some light pitting and brown patina. Grips have a worn look.

Remington Beals 2nd Model Pocket Percussion Revolv .31 cal. 3'' octagonal barrel S/N 177. Blued finish with etched cylinder checkered gutta percha grips. Pictured on page 90 of Remington's First Revolvers by Charles Schif (2007). One of seven known with the etched cylinder. Condition: Barrel retains 70% of the original blue finish which is thinning. Frame is vry sharp with nice light patina. Cylinder is very sharp and crisp showing all of the original etched panel. Grips are excellent.

Condition: Very good condition with an excellent bore. This gun retains ca 93% original blue finish with light scratches and some fine rust scattered about.

Remington-Beals 2nd Model Pocket Percussion Revolv .31 cal. 3'' octagonal barrel S/N 144. Blued finish with checkered gutta percha grips. Condition: Barrel markings are very sharp and crisp retaining 40% of the original blue thinning to a brown. Frame is very sharp mostly brown with some traces of high blue in the protected areas. Cylinder retains 40% of the blue finish with the rest thinning to a brown. Grips are excellent.

Frame retains 60%; the rest is thinning to a brown. Cylinder retains 70% with two bright lines through the cylinder. Brass guard still retains most of the silver-plated finish. Grips are excellent.
