Pietrangelo (Annapolis, MD) having a gilded handle and guard above a blade etched with patriotic symbols of Navy life, including anchors, eagle, knots, anchor with shield and 15 stars, with an ornate scabbard mount; the third sword a M1860, made and sold by Charles Svendsen (Cincinnati Oh), having a pommel with an eagle on one side and a coat of arms on the other, a wire wrapped shagreen covered grip, a guard with patriotic symbols above a blade etched with an open book, presumed to be a bible, florals and geometric shapes, named to John F. Malonen, reverse shows same symbolism and etched 'Knights of St. John", with ornate scabbard.
