Accompanied by a typed letter stating the following; " RAM'S HORN SNUFF HORN The Property of Capt. John Wallace of, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, who was drowned in 1801 off Slain's Castle, Aberdeenshire, who's daughters husband, George Allan, gave Aberdeen for America in 1863. Given to me, John Allan Morgan, by my father, the above mentioned Wm. Morgan, about 1876. Given by me John Allen Morgan, to my grandson, Howard Morgan, April 1st, 1925. Dimensions: snuff box measures approx. 3.50" in height. Condition: Item exhbits wear consistent with age. Horns lip is engraved with the following; "John Wallace".
