Stately French Gilt-Brass-Mounted Bleu du Roi Porcelain Vase, fourth quarter 19th century, now mounted as a table lamp, of "Bachelier" form in the Louis XVI Sevres style, the body with two sumptuously gilded galants reserves after Watteau at the obverse and a matching pair of bucolic landscapes at the reverse, the lower obverse galants reserve signed "Watteau", mounted, at the shoulders, with gilt-brass figures of seated putti, the base with a pseudo-Sevres interlaced "L's" mark with the date letter for 1765, h. 34-1/2".
