ERTE ART DECO SERIGRAPH, MARRIAGE DANCEErte (Romain De Tirtoff, Russian/French, 1892-1990) color serigraph with silver foil embossing on paper titled "Wedding Dance" from the artist's Love and Passion Suite, numbered 61/300, published circa 1983-84. Depicts a partially nude male and female newlywed couple standing on a silver surface and dressed in silver flowing garments and headdresses, their outstretched fingers joined together as decorative chains extending from their legs and arms bind them together, against a black background. Numbered in white pencil, lower left below image, signed "Erte" in white pencil, lower right below image. Housed and matted under plexiglass in an ebonized wooden frame. Sight: 28 1/2' H x 33 1/4" W. Framed: 41 3/4" H x 46 1/2" W.
Condition:
Overall very good condition. Not examined outside of frame. Frame with minor areas of loss, surface abrasions.
